Firm Description

Cain Lamarre boasts a large, well-established legal team guided by solid principles and a commitment to serving clients and their needs. We were founded on an original model that ensures our experts are there for you when and where you need them.  We take pride in the close relationships we build with our clients and the role we play as advisors in helping them achieve—and even exceed—their most ambitious goals.

Cain Lamarre is one of the leading firms in Quebec in the area of labor and employment law, not only for the number and size of cases we handle, but also for the number of professionals we have dedicated to this area of expertise. Our labor and employment law clientele is highly diverse, ranging from public and broader public institutions to medium and big business.

The labor and employment law team includes more than 60 lawyers spread throughout our 18 offices. These professionals devote the lion’s share of their practice to this area of expertise, as collective agreement advisors and negotiators for employers or as attorneys before administrative authorities in cases of certification, arbitration, and challenges.

Like human resource management, labor and employment law is in constant flux. You can count on our legal advisors to guide and assist you, taking into account the latest developments in the field.

In addition to our Montreal office, our other Quebec locations are in: Alma, Drummondville, Lac-Megantic, Quebec City, Rimouski, Riviere-Du-Loup, Roberval, Rouyn-Noranda, Saint-Felicien, Saint-Raymond, Saguenay, Sept-Iles, Sherbrooke, and Val-D'or.
