Firm Representatives

John Freeman is engaged in the handling of civil litigation, primarily relating to employment and commercial matters, and advising employers regarding employment issues. Mr. Freeman received his bachelor's degree from Baylor University in 1967, served in the United States Navy 1967-1969, and received his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1973. While at Vanderbilt, Mr. Freeman was Associate Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review in 1972-1973. Mr. Freeman was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1973, and is currently a member of the State Bar of Texas (Employment and Litigation Sections) and the Dallas Bar Association (Employment Section). Mr. Freeman is admitted to practice in all of the Texas state courts and in the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Western Districts of Texas, and in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Freeman was born in Jackson, Tennessee in 1945.
