Firm Description

Carmagnola & Ritardi, LLC offers specialized representation in labor, employment and commercial litigation matters. Founding Members, Domenick Carmagnola and Steve Ritardi, bring over 35 years of combined employment and commercial litigation experience to the firm. Prior to forming the firm, they were partners in the employment law group at a well-established, Northern New Jersey law firm. Both are rated AV in Martindale-Hubbell and well recognized within the county (Essex and Morris), State of New Jersey and American bar associations.

The firm prides itself in problem solving, high quality legal services and, at all times, placing the client’s best interests first. Indeed, we strive to be problem solvers, not problem makers. Our attorneys have extensive experience in labor, employment, commercial litigation and business law matters including: state/federal court litigation; non-compete (restrictive covenant) matters; appellate practice; HR counseling; corporate investigations; administrative agency matters (Department of Labor, Division on Civil Rights, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Wage and Hour Division, Occupational Safety and Health Administration); employee benefit litigation; shareholder disputes, alternative dispute resolution (arbitration and mediation); and a traditional labor law practice including matters before the National Labor Relations Board, collective bargaining, grievance arbitrations and organizing campaigns.
