Effective Supervisor® Seminar Announcement
October 17, 2017 - October 19, 2017
For the past 19 years, LMVT's Effective Supervisor® program has provided essential legal and leadership training to over 6,000 supervisors, managers, HR generalists, and small business executives.
Our goal is that supervisors leave this training with increased confidence in their leadership skills and with increased readiness to partner with HR by recognizing legal risks and leading effectively and confidently in the face of those risks. Our clients and friends tell us that we meet or exceed this goal in the program evaluations and also by treating this program as a key component of supervisor orientation and continuing education. Each year we revise the Effective Supervisor® to ensure that we cover the topics of highest priority for our attendees, address substantive changes in the law, and alert our attendees to litigation and enforcement agency trends.
We teach from the perspective of empowering supervisors to be decisive leaders, demystifying fear and dismantling misconceptions about employment law. If you've been looking for an efficient training program for your supervisors to educate them on employment laws in a practical and accessible way, this is the program for you. If you've been looking for a way to increase your supervisors' confidence in their decisionmaking and to improve how they communicate and document those decisions, this is the program for you.
This activity has been approved for 6.0 hours of (General) recertification credit toward GPPHR, HRBP, HRMP, PHR, and SPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). This activity is also valid for six (6) PDCs for the SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
